About

Claire Hayes, the richest woman in Jeston County, rescues a giant black snake and a white snake trapped in a mudslide during a storm, then shelters them in her orchard. Soon after, she's framed by her best friend, Vera Cross, and her husband, Gareth Mercer, over a tainted fruit scandal and spends ten years behind bars. Upon her release, Claire finds her empire stolen, her daughter Lila abused, and herself reduced to hauling waste.
