About

Elara Dawn, a mermaid, once sacrificed her tail to save the five Vance brothers—who had been cursed to take the form of toads—only to suffer betrayal and humiliation after a decade by their side. Heartbroken and disillusioned, she renounced her engagement and turned instead to Orion Sterling, the overlord whose name struck terror across the Seven Seas. By the time her former lovers finally realized the extent of her sacrifices and were consumed by regret, Elara had long since broken free from the past, ascending the throne as Queen of the Seven Seas beside the man who truly loved her.
